2007 Hawke's Bay Merlot
We sourced premium quality merlot grapes from Gimblett Rd to make this Merlot. The excellent autumn of 2007 allowed the grapes to achieve full ripeness. The wine was bedded down in French oak barriques for a year. Dark, ruby red in colour, our Merlot has hints of dark berries on the nose (boysenberry, blackberry). On the palate it is rich and has a fruitcake character that lingers on the finish. Ready to enjoy 2010 -2012 Bronze medal 2009 and 2010 Royal Easter Show plus Bronze medal 2008 Air New Zealand Wine Awards RRP - $25.00

2007 Hawke's Bay Syrah
We sourced some excellent Syrah grapes from Gimblett Rd to make this exciting wine. Dark purple red in colour, weighty, and intensely varietal with plum, fresh raspberry and white pepper flavours. The aroma is a mix of spice and licorice. Cellar to 2012 Silver medal 2009 Royal Easter Show RRP - $25.00 |
