Salvare Chardonnay 2008 A blend of tank fermented and barrel fermented and aged Chardonnay. This wine has a lifted stonefruit aroma which is supported by the firm structure that the oak gives the wine. It has a complex palate combining peach characters with a creamy texture and dry finish.
Salvare Unoaked Chardonnay 2008 Made from handpicked fruit grown on our home block in Ngatarawa Road, Bridge Pa. This wine was cool fermented in stainless steel with extended time on yeast lees to create a rich, weighty wine. It has stonefruit characters on the palate and a crisp dry finish.
Salvare Merlot 2007 The long dry summer of 2007 was especially good for Merlot grapes. The grapes for this wine were sourced from Gimblett Rd, an area that produces some of the best red grapes in New Zealand.
